We are focusing our research efforts on the cancers in which we have considerable strengths (pancreas, colorectal and chronic myeloid leukaemia) as well as on those where we are building greater expertise (prostate, ovarian and brain). We are developing teams within each of these areas that have input from a number of different disciplines, from basic biology and chemistry through to clinical trials and surgery, and also work with other centres across the cruk network where centre has an ambition to establish the infrastructure necessary to allow each of our cancer teams to develop a stratified medicine programme that will ultimately help to guide the treatment of patients on a much more individual basis.

We will use pancreas cancer, where we have particular experience, as the paradigm for this work as we extend it into other cancer types. This investment will provide a critical platform of technical expertise and technology to support teams across the centre, enabling them to develop and deliver new treatment options for cancer cancer team     working towards better breast cancer survival try team     using chemistry to develop new anti-cancer ological cancers team     improving outcomes through innovative clinical trials and better understanding of disease ology team     studying stem cells to improve treatments for elioma team     aiming to achieve better outcomes for mesothelioma -oncology team     aiming to improve outcomes for patients with brain atic cancer team     finding better ways to detect and treat pancreatic te cancer team     centre of excellence for prostate ute of cancer university of glasgow is a registered scottish charity: registration number m of publication studentships currently our studentships page for more our careers pages for current out about current job vacancies at the ad our most recent annual more about the research groups working at the beatson out more about our seminars including our distinguished seminar n scientists stand up to of the bair imaging competition ition for engagement cancer news digest – nhs announcements, the budget, experimental treatments and… alcoholic jelly?
